My Approach to Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

This stage can bring a lot of advice from every direction. I help you sort through it and find clear, practical answers for your body and your home.

Before and During Pregnancy

Eating well through each stage, with practical help for nausea, cravings, and low appetite.

While Breastfeeding

Simple meals and routines that support you in the busy early months.

Recovery After Birth

A gentle approach to food and energy once you have your baby, without pressure about your body.

Building a Plan for You and Your Baby

Your stage, health history, food traditions, and family routines all shape your plan. We start from what you already eat.

Food Works Alongside Your Regular Care

Nutrition support does not replace your antenatal or postnatal care. Please keep all of your regular appointments.

Finding a Balance at Home

Some days you will have little appetite or energy, so we keep your plan flexible and simple enough for those days too.

But What About After?

How to Adapt as Your Family Grows

Changing as You Recover

Your needs change after birth and through breastfeeding, so we adjust your plan as you go.

Caring for Yourself Too

Your own health still matters once your baby arrives, so it stays part of the plan.

Personalised Support

There Is No One Diet for Everyone

Every pregnancy is different. Your plan is written around you, your stage, and your family.

Frequently Asked Questions

Learn How It Works!

Should I be eating for two?

Not literally. Your needs do increase, but they vary by stage and by person. Quality and variety matter a great deal, and we look at what is right for you.

Do I still need the supplements my doctor prescribed?

Yes. Please keep taking what your doctor has advised, such as folic acid, iron, or calcium. A food plan works alongside them.

Do I need special foods to make more breast milk?

Most mothers do not. Milk supply depends mainly on regular feeding. Traditional foods can be a comforting part of your diet, and if you are worried about supply, speak to your doctor or a lactation consultant.

Can you help if I have gestational diabetes?

Yes. We plan your meals alongside your obstetric care, and your doctor stays in charge of your treatment and targets.
