My Approach to Long-Term Conditions

Living with a long-term condition means making food decisions every day. My role is to make those decisions clearer and easier to keep up.

Understanding Your Needs

We go through your history, reports, and medicines, so that your plan fits your health.

Everyday Meals

Practical changes to the meals you already cook and eat, without a separate menu for you.

Ongoing Review

Regular check-ins to see what is working and adjust the plan as your needs change.

Conditions I Can Help With

Building a Plan for You and Your Health

Your diagnosis is only part of the picture. Your plan also reflects your food preferences, work, family meals, and budget.

Food Is One Part of Your Care

Good nutrition supports your wider treatment but does not replace it. Your doctor remains in charge of your diagnosis and medicines.

Finding a Routine You Can Keep

Small, steady changes are easier to keep up than a complete overhaul. We begin with the changes that matter most to you.

But What About After?

How to Keep Going with Confidence

Knowing What to Do Next

Knowing When to Ask

We talk about when to check in with me and when a question is best taken to your doctor.

Personalised Support

There Is No One Diet for Everyone

Two people with the same diagnosis can need very different plans. Yours is written around you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Learn How It Works!

Will this replace my medicine or treatment?

No. Nutrition support works alongside your medical care. Please do not stop or change any medicine without speaking to your doctor.

Should I bring my medical reports?

Yes. Recent reports and a list of your medicines help make the plan relevant to you.

What if I have more than one condition?

That is common, and it is a good reason to get personal advice. We look at how your conditions and medicines fit together, and start with what matters most.

Should I tell my doctor that I am seeing a nutritionist?

Yes, please do. You are welcome to share your plan with your doctor, and your doctor remains in charge of your treatment.
